The Tralee Omniplex will reopen today (Thursday) after a week of being out of action due to upgrade work being done.
The that was carried out over the past week at the cinema on the Dan Spring road was the installation of high definition digital projection in each of the cinema’s screens.
This is all part of future plans to install the OmniplexMAXX screen in the future. Stretching a whopping 23 metres this would be one of the largest screens in the country.

Also we did not get to show Inbetweeners 2 in Longford, Tralee or Wexford. This will change next Friday.
