MERCY Mounthawk Parents’ Council is running a Christmas Technology Raffle with some fantastic prizes to be won by parents of students in the school.
Tralee-based Aspen Grove Solutions has donated a generous amount of money to the parents’ council to help them raise funds for technology within the school.
This donation will be used to purchase laptop and technology vouchers for a Monster Technology Raffle in the school before Christmas.

“We brainstormed some ideas and decided to offer families a chance to win some fantastic prizes for their students, create a Christmas buzz while also supporting our school,” said Rachel Fitzgerald, Chairperson of Mercy Mounthawk Parents’ Council.
“In these times of social distancing, technology can be a lifeline that allows people to stay in touch with loved ones and family. Aspen Grove Solutions is a local Irish company who, along with the parents’ council, believe it’s important to support local businesses. We have linked with Hugh Culloty to redeem the prizes,” continued Rachel.

Tickets are €5 each and can only be purchased through the school’s VSWare system open to parents of students in the school.
“We are delighted that the Parents’ Council have organised this raffle. The funds raised will help us to provide technology to assist our students learn and to get the most out of the school’s educational platform both within school and at home, as we have progressed to make technology an integral part of the education process in Mounthawk,” said John O’Roarke, Principal of Mercy Mounthawk.
Tickets go on sale on VSWare from Monday 23rd November until Friday 18th December. The draw for the winning tickets will take place in the School on Monday 21st December.
