There will be a variety of fun activities within the school also, with Ms Christine Ryan organising a whole school Cha Cha Slide and also some novelty games and races during lunchtime where the teachers will compete with the students, always great fun!!

Health Promotion Week was launched on Tuesday by Jordan Lee from Killarney, the first one-handed basketball player for Ireland and Michelle Herbert who will hold student talks about CPR and how it saved her life.

An anti-bullying talk will be held in the school on Tuesday evening and will of course be of interest to parents and students alike.

And Mercy Mounthawk will also be preparing for their hosting of the Cycle Against Suicide stage which will be coming to the school on May 1st, sending out the message that ‘It’s okay not to feel okay and it’s absolutely okay to ask for help’.
