WE’VE had a lot of warnings lately.

After a windy couple of days, it’s the rain that earns the latest warning for Kerry and Cork as Met Éireann issues a Status Yellow warning.

A spell of rain on Sunday will bring accumulations of 25 to 40mm, highest totals in mountainous regions. Some localised flooding is possible.

The warning is valid from 9am on Sunday until midnight tonight. Judging by the rainfall radar on the Met Éireann website, there will be no let-up throughout the day so don’t make any outdoor plans!
