Here’s The Times And Dates For The Opening Round Of The Kerry SFC

THE revised dates for the start of the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship were decided last night.

The opening round was due to be played on the weekend of September 14/15, but Kerry’s replay against Dublin caused it to be postponed by a week.

The games will now be played on the weekend of September 21 and 22 with local clubs Austin Stacks playing on the Saturday and Kerins O’Rahillys on the Sunday.

The Rockies will play Dingle away at 5pm on the Saturday, while Kerins O’Rahillys will have a “home” game in Austin Stack Park at 3.30pm on Sunday.

Tralee players will also be involved in championship action when St Brendans play East Kerry in Austin Stack Park at 1.30pm, on Sunday in a double-header.

The full fixtures are as follows;

Saturday, September 21, 5pm

• St Kierans v Mid Kerry in Brosna
• Dingle v Austin Stacks in Dingle

Sunday, September 22

• 1.30pm — Killarney Legion v Kilcummin in Fitzgerald Stadium
• 1.30pm — St Brendan’s v East Kerry in Austin Stack Park

• 2.30pm — Kenmare District v West Kerry in Templenoe
• 2.30pm — South Kerry v Shannon Rangers

• 3.30pm — Dr Crokes v Rathmore in Fitzgerald Stadium
• 3.30pm — Kerins O’Rahillys v Kenmare Shamrocks in Austin Stack Park
