Holy Family School Holds Prayer Service For Lily-Anna

A PRAYER service was held this morning at Holy Family School for 2nd class pupil Lily-Anna Sebestová who is battling a serious illness.

Fr. Padraig arrived at Holy Family National School at 10am to conduct a beautiful prayer service over the intercom.

All pupils and staff were invited to light a special candle for Lily-Anna and to pray for a quick recovery.

Lily-Anna is currently undergoing treatment in Dublin and is hoping to be home for Christmas to join her three brothers Dean, Jack and Eli and her sister Sadhbh for the seasonal celebrations.

Eight-year-old Lily-Anna, who was diagnosed with Rhabobmyosarcoma in July of this year, has missed a lot of school as a result of her treatment and is really looking forward to returning to all her classmates when she is ready.

The school is organising a fundraiser to help with medical and travel expenses incurred by Lily-Anna’s family to ensure she receives all the help and support she needs during this difficult time. If anyone would like to make a donation please click on the link below:
