THERE’LL be a big homecoming in the sportsfield complex in Abbeydorney on Friday night at 9pm to welcome home Kerry’s first ever Blue Jean Country Queen.
Alison O’Connor (27) from Causeway Macra won the title at the Festival in Athboy Co. Meath at the weekend becoming the first representative from Kerry Macra na Feirme to do so in the 30 year history of the festival.
Alison, a 27 year old civil servant, was awarded the top prize of €1,000 from Athboy Credit Union. Here she is being interviewed after her win where she talks about the experience…
