THERE’LL be racing again in Ballybeggan this year for the fourth year in a row.

After years of  being dormant, International Horse and Pony Racing revived the course in August 2014, drawing people from all over the country and the UK.

It returned in June the following year, while last year the North Kerry Harriers organised Point To Point racing in May.

Now the Harriers have announced the Point To Point racing will return on Saturday, May 27, to the Ballybeggan Racecourse.

Organisers say more details about the event will be forthcoming so check out their Facebook page (by clicking here) for updates.

  1. Brilliant,, its awful tot see a racecourse Dormant, and now the racecourse is brought to life with the thunder of hooves again.
Hereford was closed and hosted point to points and Arab racing, and progressed to open again.
Crowds at Hereford are great and backed by the locals, which is not the case at Tralee.
I really hope and pray Tralee opens fully again and we can see top class racing and see the likes of Ruby Walsh, Barry Geraghty, Pat Smullen competing there again, would be fantastic, let’s keep dreaming
