Ms Amy Hourigan Assistant Manager and staff of Debenhams Tralee who are taking part in Darkness into Light walk next Saturday, make a presentation to Kerry Rose Celine O’Shea who is also taking part in the walk. Also in picture is Anne Leahy O’Shea Chairperson of DIL Tralee and committee members.

IT’S just days away now until the annual Darkness Into Light event and there’s still time to register to take part.

Last year 1,451 people registered to attend the Tralee event and an incredible amount of €41,198.97 was raised in the 2018 event. The committee are well prepared to stage the walk at 4.15am on Saturday morning from the Tralee Bay Wetlands (note change from CBS The Green in previous years).

To register for the event click here. It’s an event that now has over 200,000 participants worldwide. It has over 155 walks in Ireland with 50 more around the world and it has now become a global movement of people supporting mental health.

If you haven’t done it then its time to put it on your bucket list for the year as it really is a very special event and not to be missed.
