THE Cashel Children’s Ward was the beneficiary of profits from an annual children’s event at Easter organised by Tralee Chamber Alliance.
The Under 12’s Kids Fun Run in Tralee Town Park took place on Easter Saturday as part of the Tír na na Óg Children’s Festival with Zumba dancing with Linda Flanagan, face painting, Easter Eggs, music and children’s favourite cartoon characters.
It cost €5 per child and was a massive success. Staff from the Cashel Ward were on hand at Tralee Chamber Alliance on Monday to accept the cheque for €481. The event was also supported by Garveys Supervalu Tralee and Tralee Outlook.
