BRITISH supermarket giant Iceland is to open their Tralee store by early December creating around 25 jobs.
The store is to be located at the Horan Centre at the former Kiely’s Electrical shop near Argos on 665 sq metre premises.
Auctioneer, Ger Carmody, who handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, said work is ongoing at the premises and around 25 jobs will be created at the store which sells fresh and frozen goods.

There were rumours circulating over the past year that the British giant was coming, but confirmation of the new jobs is a welcome boost for the town.
The store is expected to bring much extra footfall to the Horan Centre area and Ger Carmody said an adjacent 2,500 sq ft premises is vacant if any business is interested in taking advantage of this.
