Imelda 2

Imelda May.

STARTING the Christmas celebrations early? Well it’s not too late to catch the sensational Imelda May, fresh from her Late Late Show appearance on Friday night,  at the INEC Killarney this Tuesday.

Since the release of her raucous debut Love Tattoo in 2009 (now 8 times platinum in Ireland), Imelda has been one of the most strikingly original talents in the music arena.

In 2010 came her six times platinum album Mayhem, which she took on the road, bringing some good old-fashioned rock’n’roll spirit to audiences worldwide.

With her live shows widely acclaimed, she has picked up fans as diverse as Jools Holland, Jeff Beck and Bono who duetted with her at her sold out 02 shows in Dublin 2011.

Earlier this year she released her new album Tribal reaching No 1 in the Irish album charts.  Far from mellowing with motherhood Imelda sizzles more than ever with her leather-clad attitude, returning with a brand new album of hard-edged anthems and pinning her colours to the mast with music that celebrates the great rock’n’roll sub-culture.

Doors Open: 7.30pm, show starts: 8.30pm. Tickets are Standing €35.00 Seated €39.50.
