Increase Of Two In Official Number Of COVID-19 Cases In Kerry

THE official number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the county since the start of the pandemic is now at 328 – an increase of two – but Kerry has not seen any new cases over the past 24 hours.

42 new cases over the past 24 hours were confirmed nationally by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) this evening.

24 are in Dublin, 6 in Limerick, and the remaining 12 are located in Carlow, Clare, Galway, Kildare, Longford, Offaly, and Sligo.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 28,760.

There were no additional deaths from the virus reported this evening in Ireland.  The total number of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 is 1,777.
