THE Department of Social Protection are advising customers living in Tralee and surrounding areas that, due to a fuel spillage, the Intreo Centre located at Godfrey Place, Tralee will be closed to the public for the remainder of this week.
It will not re-open before Tuesday, 19 January at the earliest. The Department apologises to customers for any inconvenience this may cause.
The spillage occurred last Friday at a premises adjacent to the building and work is ongoing to ensure a safe environment for staff and the public.
The Department will be in contact with customers who are due to sign for Jobseekers’ payments and customers who are due to attend for Public Service Card appointments at the Intreo Centre, Godfrey Place on Thursday and Friday, to make alternative arrangements with them.
The Intreo centre located at Edward Street, Tralee remains open.
