Inspired Group Raises Funds For Defibrillator

AK Inspired participants took part in a Jog 4 June 5K challenge organised by Angela O’Mahony and John Halpin (Health and Leisure Tutors) to raise funding for a defibrillator for the service.

Inspired, based at Brandon Court in Tralee, received huge support from the participants families, friends and members of the general public and expressed their gratitude for their continued support.

They also thanked local businessman Aidan O’Carroll of Avalanche Designs for his generous donation which brought their goal over the line.

Inspired is a community project for young adults with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) based in Tralee.

Participants attend Inspired 5 days a week to pursue a dedicated person-centred programme aimed at developing their continued education, employability and community participation.
