A SOCIETY at the IT Tralee is getting ready to rumble as they prepare for a fundraising boxing night at Tralee Sports Complex.
The IT Tralee Spark Society is all about sparking the conversation on Mental Health. The society, which was founded by Co-Chairmen Conor O’Brien and Mike Edgar, holds weekly meetings, and also events for the community like comedy nights, brownie sales and panel discussions with mental health professionals.
Their ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ is set to take place on March 14 at 7pm and is a collaboration with IT Tralees Boxing club in aid of Samaritans. The event is about pushing the message that nobody has a perfect mental health.

The boxers are all part of the IT Tralee community. It is a white collar boxing event and the boxers involved have been given free coaching and training to prepare for it.
