It’s Going To Be A Wet One Tomorrow

MET Eireann has issued a Status Yellow – Rainfall warning for Kerry coming into effect from 6am tomorrow morning.

The warning is also in place for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork and Limerick. Rain will turn heavy and persistent on Friday and Friday night bringing the risk of localised flooding.

Rainfall totals of 30-50mm are expected during the period, higher in mountainous areas.

Judging by the Rainfall Radar on the Met Eireann website, the heavy rain will come in at around 6am until 12noon but it should just be showery during the afternoon.

More heavy rain comes in at about 8pm and will be persistent during Friday night and into Saturday morning.
