THE IT Tralee St Vincent de Paul Society presented the fruits of their fundraising activities over the past number of months to the Society’s Education Fund.
Junior Locke, President of the Tralee Area Conference, accepted a cheque for €2,000 after the ITT society held a fashion show in the Ballyroe Heights Hotel back in November.
“We also had other fundraising events which added to the total,” said Ruairí Fry of the ITT SVP Society. “The fund is vital for some students who don’t qualify for SUSI or the Student Assistance Fund,” said Ruairí, who is off representing Ireland in the International St Vincent de Paul Council Conference in Madrid on June 15.
