Jacinta Hobbart won a trip to New York through the National Lottery’s new competition.
JACINTA Hobbart from Tralee, is packing her suitcases as she prepares to jet off on her dream holiday to New York with her sister Mary.
The busy mum burst into tears of joy when she received news that she’d won the National Lottery’s Bigger Better Lotto Dream Holiday Competition, currently running on www.lottery.ie/biggerbetterlotto.
While in New York, Jacinta and her sister Mary will be treated to the ultimate shopping experience. Staying at the world-famous Waldorf Astoria on 5th Avenue, the pair will gain VIP behind-the-scenes access to the fashion designers themselves and, with €3,000 spending money included in the prize, a luxury limo will be on-hand to chauffer the ladies and their many, many shopping bags around the city!

Jacinta is a regular player of National Lottery games and was overjoyed to hear that she’d won.
“The trip to New York immediately jumped out at me because I love all things fashion and I knew my sister Mary would love it too – she’s always dreamt of a holiday like this,” she said.
“I couldn’t believe it when I received a message telling me that I’d won. I rang the National Lottery but was so overwhelmed I hung up as soon as someone answered! When I did eventually speak to someone, I burst into tears all over again!” she whooped.
“I work in Debenhams and Mary works as a nurse in the local hospital. We’ve always been incredibly close and even travelled to Australia together when we were younger but, between children and work, life has become very busy in recent years and we haven’t had a holiday in over six years! So winning this competition is an absolute dream come true. We can’t wait to hit the shops and enjoy the ultimate girls’ holiday – look out New York!”
This competition celebrates the launch of Bigger Better Lotto by offering players the opportunity to select their dream holiday from ten trips including an idyllic Caribbean Escape, a Safari in the Serengeti or watching the sunrise at the Taj Mahal in India.
