KERRY GAA have issued an update on the injury to James O’Donoghue sustained yesterday.
The Kerry star injured his shoulder when he fell following a tackle by the goalkeeper in yesterday’s All Ireland Football Quarter final tie with Kildare.
According to the statement: “The Kerry Medical Team immediately realigned the shoulder and an X-Ray afterwards showed that there was no serious injury sustained. He will have a routine MRI Scan and will rest for a few days before beginning rehab and a graduated return to action.”
While it doesn’t give a timeframe for the “return to action” all Kerry fans will be hoping he’ll be back in time for the All-Ireland semi-final in three weeks.
