Jim McGuinness.

JUST under two weeks after defeat to Kerry in the All-Ireland Final, Jim McGuinness has stepped down from his role as coach of the Donegal senior team.

In a statement released by Donegal GAA, it stated that McGuinness has stepped down from the job as manager with immediate effect.

The news will come as a shock to all GAA followers, as the man, who played with distinction on the Tralee college Sigerson Cup teams of the late 1990s, brought unprecedented success to his home county over the past three years.
