A TRALEE PR Consultant has been selected to become the new President of Tralee Chamber Alliance until 2017.
John Drummey, who has been the Communications Advisor to Tralee Chamber Alliance since its foundation in 2012, joined the 19-person Board in November 2014 and he was unanimously chosen to become its new President at the February meeting.
The outgoing President of Tralee Chamber Alliance, Pádraig McGillicuddy, said: “John was selected because of his sense of civic duty, his commitment to making Tralee a better place to be in and for his knowledge of all things Tralee. He shares my desire to see the people of Tralee believe in the overall product that the town has to offer as a great place to visit and in which to live and work. I wish him, the Board and members of Tralee Chamber Alliance every success into the future as they work to ensure that we have a driven generation to participate in the future of their town and to be proud of Tralee.”
John Drummey Communications has among its clients the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Kerry Airport, Kirby’s Brogue Inn, Meadowlands Hotel, Ballyroe Heights Hotel, CPC.ie and Rose of Tralee International Festival.
He will take over the role of President of Tralee Chamber Alliance from Pádraig McGillicuddy after this year’s AGM which will take place in the coming weeks.
