Our 16s kicked off their County League journey last Wednesday with a comfortable win over Scart/Cordal. A great all round performance was key to this dominate display. Sean Broderick made some great saves in goals. Sean Stack and Jordan Mason defended very strong while kicking some great scores. Cillian Keating was in control in midfield kicking two fantastic scores. Luke Dennehy had the game of his season wing forward while Alex O’Shea was in goal scoring form hitting the net with both left and right legs. Leo Gaxha was very impressive on his debut for the club coming off the bench also David Moriarty and David O Connor impressed. Next for us is Finuge away next Wednesday at 7.00 p.m.

Our under 14 team travelled to Milltown in the first round of the Central League on Friday and were beaten on a score line of 5-15 to 4-5. Best on the night were Sean Broderick, Brian O’Donnell, Ciaran White, Martin Laucher and David Tiny O Callaghan. Team and scorers were
Sean Broderick, Ciaran White, Darragh McEvoy, Brian O’Donnell, Jack O’Donoghue, Daniel Bowler, Darragh Murphy, Darragh Caplis(0-2), Dan Fisher , Jessie Duggan(1-1), Martin Laucher(2-2), Conor Kerins, David O’Callaghan (1-0), Cody O Brien, Cian O Shea and Ciaran Foran
