Junior Championship – McElligott Cup:
We travelled to Killarney on Friday night to play Spa in the semi final of the Junior Championship and emerged with a great victory winning on a final score of 2-12 to 2-9.

Spa started quickly and had a goal inside the opening 2 minutes but we responded with points from Cian O Brien, George Bastible and Graham Higgins to get back on terms.

Both teams traded scores before a goal from Bryan Costello saw us going in leading at half time on a score of 1-6 to 1-4. Both teams had goal chances early in the 2nd half before a fine individual goal from Cian Holden saw us take control of the game. Spa scored a goal late on but we held out for a well deserved win.

We now await the winners of the 2nd semi final between Beaufort and Ballydonoghue.
