U8s:
John Mitchels U8 boys & girls had a great turnout on Sunday morning last despite the bad weather. The coaches started them off with some stretching followed by a good warm up. After that it was ball work and great to see all kids showing improvements every week.
Training continues next Sunday morning from 10.00AM TO 11.00am in our sports hall EVERYONE WELCOME.

U10s:
Last Sunday was our second day back and we had to go inside the hall as the astro pitch was covered in snow. Sean, Luke and Jack were training hard and showed some great kicking ability. Chanelle, Cody and Ava worked well and are showing great promise. Eanna, Rudhrai and  Megan put a huge effort into controlling the ball and their passes and made excellent progress. The rest of the boys and girls put in a huge effort in training but at the end it was still very hard to hit the crossbar.
See you all next week, boots, runners, water bottle and gum shield.

All children are invited to attend our Junevile training sessions. Even if they have never kicked a ball before the Club aims to give these kids fun, exercise, the skills to develop in football and also this training can be a fantastic confidence builder for kids from all backgrounds. They get to make friends outside of normal school circles and learn to become part of a team all under the supervision and encouragement of our Coaches and Mentoring staff. We at John Mitchels are planning a busy season for our Juveniles and we would ask parents if they have any feedback or suggestions. We are looking for parents to volunteer to give a handout on a Sunday morning and they can do so by contacting any of our Coaches or Mentors. All help would be greatly appreciated.
