ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE:
Once again we will be taking part in the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday 17th March. We want this year’s representation to be even bigger than last year and we are inviting all Players and their families to march with us and represent John Mitchels GAA Club on our National Day.
There are two things to be aware of this year:
1. This year’s Parade has a different route to before. We will now leave from the Dan Spring Roundabout (roundabout at the entrance to the Rose Hotel) and travel up past Cloonbeg Terrace, Dean’s Lane and Boherbee to Castle Street, along the Mall and finish at the entrance to The Square next to Carrig Donn.
2. This Year’s Parade is due to start earlier, departing from the Dan Spring Roundabout at 11.45 a.m. so please be there early and keep an eye out for Mark or Dan who will look after the kids.

TABLE QUIZ:
A Table Quiz will take place in Gallys Bar & Restaurant 8.30 p.m. on Friday March 23rd. Entry Fee €40 per table for a team of 4 persons. If you or anyone you know wishes to take part please contact George Lowe at 087 2743161. All monies raised will be used for the different age groups of the Club. It is essential that all Juveniles are registered. Unregistered Players are not covered by the GAA Insurance Scheme. Closing date for registration is March 31st 2018.

As you all know John Mitchels juveniles will be taking part in this year’s St Patrick’s day parade on Saturday next.
Everyone taking part is asked to meet at the entrance to the Rose hotel at 11.30am sharp (their will coaches there from 11.15am.) The parade itself is due to start at 11.45am sharp so please try to be there early everyone welcome.
All Parents will be notified during the week via text.

All children are invited to attend our Junevile training sessions. Even if they have never kicked a ball before the Club aims to give these kids fun, exercise, the skills to develop in football and also this training can be a fantastic confidence builder for kids from all backgrounds. They get to make friends outside of normal school circles and learn to become part of a team all under the supervision and encouragement of our Coaches and Mentoring staff. We at John Mitchels are planning a busy season for our Juveniles and we would ask parents if they have any feedback or suggestions. We are looking for parents to volunteer to give a handout on a Sunday morning and they can do so by contacting any of our Coaches or Mentors. All help would be greatly appreciated. SPRING CLEANOUT –
CLOTHES FUNDRAISER:
John Mitchels are commencing their Clothes Collection again for 2018 so please donate any unwanted Clothes and Textiles (clean re-wearable clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen, soft toys are accepted) Where possible please donate at least 3+ bags – this really does raise much needed funds for our Club. Please drop items to the the Complex, Ballyseedy.

Our Bingo continues on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights. Bingo is a vital fundraiser for the Club and all funds raised from the Bingo goes directly back into the Club and all support is greatly appreciated. Any member who wishes to volunteer can do so by giving their details to any club officer.

Our Sports Complex at Camp Ballyseedy is available for bookings on the Sports Hall and All Weather pitch. The Complex is also open for children’s parties.
