Charity Walk/Run:
The Palliative Care Unit are having a Charity Walk/Run from the Aquadome, Tralee on Friday August 3rd at 7.00 pm. This is being held in the memory of the late Robert O’Dowd. All queries contact Eoin Kelliher on 087-2992392 or Mary Shanahan 086.0538706.

All registrations for event are online on primoevents.

Alternatively Registration can be done on the night 5.00  to 6.30 p.m.

As an added attraction, Former Liverpool player Alan Kennedy, former Kerry player Seamus Moynihan, former Ireland Rugby player Mick Galway and former Tipperary hurler John lahy will attend and will be available for an interview session after a BBQ in Benners Hotel.

Junevile Summer Camp:
The John Mitchels Summer Camp was another fantastic success this year with great numbers and excellent supervision. A variety of games ensured a great week was had by all. We added an Irish Songs and Dance to the Clár this year. Well done to Paul Bardon, Mark, Dan and Eleanor for the outstanding contribution and dedication they gave for the week. Looking forward to next year already!!

John Mitchels had a light training session this was due to the very warm & humid weather. Next week we’ll see our U8 & U10 boys & girls travel to Kerins O’Rahillys for a challenge game. Parents will be notified via text during the week.

John Mitchels are commencing their Clothes Collection again for 2018 so please donate any unwanted Clothes and Textiles (clean re-wearable clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen, soft toys are accepted) Where possible please donate at least 3+ bags – this really does raise much needed funds for our Club. Please drop items to the the Complex, Ballyseedy.

Our Bingo continues on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights. Bingo is a vital fundraiser for the Club and all funds raised from the Bingo goes directly back into the Club and all support is greatly appreciated. Any member who wishes to volunteer can do so by giving their details to any club officer.

Our Sports Complex at Camp Ballyseedy is available for bookings on the Sports Hall and All Weather pitch. The Complex is also open for children’s parties. Further information contact the Club reception on 066 7197070.

Please note that all club merchandise is now available for purchasing only through Henneberys Sports Shop, Ashe St, Tralee and is no longer for sale at our complex in Ballyseedy. Please also note that our Club colours are – Green and Gold Jerseys, White togs and Green and Gold socks.
