UNDER 8’S

John Mitchel’s U8 Boys had a busy schedule of football this week, first off, we had the Kerry Coiste na N’Og Go Games held in John Mitchel’s Ballyseedy on Wednesday last where we had 2 teams entered. Both teams played some great football from start to finish & represented their club & coach’s very well.

On Sunday last we had great numbers for training & we’ll have more go game’s coming up shortly so stay tuned for more details thanks.

UNDER 10’S

What a great week of football for the U10 boys. On Thursday afternoon we played in a blitz organised by the county board and we had two teams. Both teams played 3 games and all players performed really well and showed how to play as a team.

There were great displays from all the boys and this showed with the results we got, the scores we got and the tackles we made, well done again lads. On Sunday it was back to training and after looking at our good performances and what we can improve on we set to work with drills and at the end a competitive game.

We have training again next Sunday and might have a go game blitz the week after that.

LADIES

Training Thursdays and Sundays, next game at home to Dingle in the County League on May 12th. Best wishes to our Ladies recovering from injuries.

CLOTHES COLLECTION:

We have joined up with St Vincent De Paul to rise much needed funds for both John Mitchel’s and SVP. By donating your second-hand clothes and unwanted items, not only will you be freeing up space in your home, you will also be making a difference to people in need, in your community.

We now have an SVP clothes bank in our car park at our state-of-the-art sports facility in Ballyseedy.
