UNDER 8 & 10 GIRLS

The weather wasn’t as great as the previous weekend but it didn’t stop the u8 and u10 girls turning up to Ballyseedy on Sunday morning ready for action. The skills that the girls had been asked to practise at home over the previous week were on view and they got stuck in early after a good warm-up. This was followed by hand passing and tackling drills, all designed to replicate game conditions. The training finished up with a quick game, which was notable for how eager the girls were to get involved. Jenny and Kate were the fore in attack, with Roisin, Maddison and Karolina looked sharp. At midfield, Aisling, Alannah, Hannah and Millie linked up well with each other, while Aeibhin, Ava, Clodagh and Grace also stood out.

Training continues next Sunday at 10.30, and all are welcome.

UNDER 8’S

John Mitchels U8 Boy’s put in another great training session this week with the Boys showing great skills & determination during our training games. Next week we are away to Kerins o Rahillys so full Attendance required where possible!!

Parents will be notified via text during the week hope to see you there all then.

UNDER 10 BOYS

We had another good turnout last Sunday morning at training on the astro pitch. After a warmup of soloing, pickups & catching the boys did a few hand passing drills to get into the swing of things. It’s clear to see that the last few weeks training has improved their ball handling immensely. This was followed by another score kicking drill where the boys were on the move soloing, hopping & hand passing which was very enjoyable. After a quick drink it was down to the major business of the day which was the game & after some great scores a last-minute goal levelled it up to make it a draw for the fourth week in a row. We hope to have a challenge game next Sunday morning but we’ll let you know the details well in advance. Any new players are very welcome to attend.

U16 BOYS

Our U16 Boys have two games played in the County League so far resulting in one win and one loss, one game to play tomorrow Monday V Churchill, training continues Tuesday and Friday 6pm.
