Christmas Market
We had a fantastic turnout for our first Market which took place on Sunday 12th December.

The complex was full with excitement as people were glad to get back into the swing of things after so long. We had over 50 Stalls on the first week of the market. All covid guidelines were followed and everyone sanitized and wore a mask throughout.

Food was provided by Gallys who had lovely soup, sandwiches and desserts for sale to keep us all fed. Thanks to Grace Keirns Abigail O Shea and Hugh Fitzgibbon who kept our shop going so people could get tea/ coffee and minerals throughout the day.

A huge thanks to Bubbles Rory and Thomas who helped get everyone set up carrying tables and stock when needed. Thanks to Dennis Fitzgerald for doing the carpark and Dennis Mannix, Dan O Connor and Mark McEvoy for helping with the clear up.

We had Cara Credit union, Celsius and Caherleaheen School also involved was great to see schools and businesses on board also.

There were great spot prizes on offer also. First prize was won by Sonya O Brien who went home with a hamper from Corrib Oil, second prize was won by Andy from Gallys who won a 50-euro voucher that was kindly donated by Billy Nolans Jewlers and third prize was won by Anna M Keogh O Connell who went home with two bottles of wine.

We also had a draw for the stall holders to show our appreciation and the winner was Oliva from Olivia’s lucky horseshoes.  We have our Market again next Sunday from 12-5pm so please come along and shop local. Check out our Facebook page for posts throughout the week.
