RESCHEDULING OF CLUB MEETING:
As a mark of respect to the late Noel Dalton, John Mitchels Club Information meeting has been rescheduled to Monday October 3rd at 7.30 p.m. in John Joe Sheehy Road.

SYMPATHY:
The Chairman, Officers and members of John Mitchels Club wishes to extend their sympathy to the Dalton family on the death of Noel.

Noel played football with John Mitchels for a number of years, winning County Championship medals in 1952 and 1959.

Noel also volunteered in many roles throughout the years and served as Vice-President of the club for over 20 years up until the time of his passing.

COMMUNITY MASS:
A Community Mass will be held on Thursday November 3rd at 8.00 p.m. in the old Club House, John Joe Sheehy Road. All are welcome to attend.

Please note that all club merchandise is now available for purchasing only through Henneberys Sports Shop, Ashe St, Tralee and is no longer for sale at our complex in Ballyseedy.
Please also note that our Club colours are – Green and Gold Jerseys, White togs and Green and Gold socks.

SENIOR LADIES:
Senior ladies training continues Thursday at 7.00 p.m. U16 ladies who wish to
keep there fitness levels up are welcome to join in.

U14 LADIES:
We continued in the North Kerry League on Tuesday evening with a home game to Balllyduff at Camp, Ballyseedey. Conditions were ideal for the match and Mitchels went into an early lead with scores from Ruth (goal ), Julie Rachel and Melissa.
In goals Paula made some great saves and Sinead, Lauren and Clara kept Ballyduff at bay.
The second half saw Mitchels score another 1- 8 with a goal from Julie and points from Rachel and Ruth and well supported by Eimear Caoimhne and Kate helped Mitchels to a well deserved win.
Best wishes to Taylor who had to come off injured at half time.
Final score Mitchels 2-14 Ballyduff 0-8.

FUNDRAISER:
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLOSING DATE IS NOW EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 27th.
Please donate any unwanted Clothes and Textiles (clean re-wearable clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains, towels, bed linen, soft toys are accepted) as well as Mobile Phones and Laptops (please keep these items in a separate bag). Where possible please donate at least 3+ bags – this really does raise much needed funds for our Club. Please drop items to the the Complex.

BINGO:
Our Bingo continues on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights. Bingo is a vital fundraiser for the Club and all funds raised from the Bingo goes directly back into the Club and all support is greatly appreciated.

SUNDAY MORNING CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE:
Juvenile training for 2016 continues on Sunday next in John Mitchels Centre of Excellence, Camp, Ballyseedy.

U10s:
We travelled to Farranfore on Sunday morning and played two games in very pleasant conditions. Sean og, Darragh, Jaden, Dathi, Luke and Cody played strong games and worked well with the ball. Gerard, Robert, Cillian, Mark, and Joe tackled hard and got some great turnovers and had some great shots at goal. Will, Andrew, Ted, Sam and Ben put on splendid performances and took great scores. Overall it was a great performance by both teams and with some more training we will have outstanding teams, well done to everyone who played and thanks to the parents for driving we hoped you enjoyed watching your boys develop into talented players. Training again next Sunday, be on the pitch for 10.25 as full training starts at 10.30a.m.

U8 BOYS:
This Sunday morning saw John Mitchels U8 & U10 boy’s travel to Firies for our return games. Both U8 teams started slowly playing into a strong breeze but as the game went on they improved creating a lot of scoring chances. Our thanks to Firies GAA club for a well organised event. We would like everyone to attend training next Sunday morning to prepare for our up and coming SILVIE MASON BLITZ due to take place in a few weeks time until next Sunday at 10.30a.m. keep on practicing.

U6 BOYS AND GIRLS:
Training continues every Sunday 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

U-8 & U-10 LADIES:
Training continues every Sunday 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

JOHN MITCHELS SPORTS COMPLEX:
Our Sports Complex at Camp Ballyseedy is available for bookings on the Sports Hall and All Weather pitch. The Complex is also open for children’s parties. Further information contact the Club reception on
