MANY people are currently hitting the road every day this month for the 5k A Day January Challenge.
Organised by Colin ‘Poshey’ Aherne, the campaign has proved hugely popular with almost €11,500 already raised for three great organisations — Donal Walsh LiveLife Foundation, Kerry Cancer Support Group and Make A Wish Foundation.
Well Poshey wants as many people as possible to join him for the final 5k on Wednesday, January 31 at 7pm at The Ashe Hotel.
“The final night will be 5k walk followed with a cheque presentation to the three chosen charities. Also, if people want to collect their medals on the night we can arrange it to make it special on the last night,” said Poshey, who thanked The Ashe Hotel for their continued support of his campaign.
