Enable Ireland is looking forward to the Swimathon on October 1 in Banna Beach Hotel.
THE 5th Annual Enable Ireland Swimathon takes place on Sunday, October 1 at Banna Beach Hotel, Ardfert and organisers are looking for people to take part.
This is a continuous swim over 8 hours from 10am – 6pm. Organiser Brid Brown says; “There is no age limit and we welcome swimmers of all abilities to join in. So far we have had a great response with families and teams signing up. We are trying to have at least one person in the pool from 8am – 9pm.”

There is no fundraising target and everyone who takes part will receive a swimathon medal. In Kerry, Enable Ireland provide a range of supports and services to children and adults with disabilities.
All services are geared to ensure that a disability is not an obstacle to a child or adult expressing themselves, building friendships, playing sports, accessing education and participating in the community.
