His acclaimed debut album Pull the Right Rope was a Choice Music Prize nominee for Irish Album of the Year.

He is influenced as much by the avant-garde as music from the middle ages and his home place. The performance is part of a summer programme of events orgainsed by Nonfaction and supported by the Local Live Performance Scheme 3.

Nonfaction is a nonprofit collective based in Kerry that seeks to unlock new opportunities to experience, engage and promote contemporary culture.

Welsh guitarist (and astrophysicist) Gwenifer Raymond will support Junior Brother on the night. Tickets are available from http://nonfaction.com/

The Local Live Performance Scheme 3 is designed to help support performances by local Kerry musicians, artists, and performers. All events supported by the scheme will take place in front of a live audience.
