A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl did something special before going off on her summer holidays.

On Wednesday morning last, Kara O’Sullivan from Callinafercy got 13 inches cut off her beautiful hair to donate it to The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to children with cancer.

Kara and her family thanked  all at Marion’s Hair Salon in Milltown, especially Marion, for the warm welcome and Ciara, who ensured that Kara went back to her last day in 3rd class at Nagle Rice Primary School delighted with her new hair style.

All donations made are going to The Little Princess Trust and the Kerry Cork Cancer Bus. A huge thanks is extended to all who have already donated money to Kara’s Fundraiser.
