A sombre  mood in Strand Road last Sunday morning implying the loneliness felt by us as we honoured Marie Nix during the club run and walk. As expected , there was a great turnout.  It brought back memories of Marie’s warm smile and friendly and welcoming presence. Marie brought out the best in each player, inspiring confidence in the girls she trained.

Gorgeous smiles by Kerins O’ Rahilly’s Conor and Siún O’Shea who participated in the 5k honouring Marie Nix.

We who had the pleasure of knowing Marie, both players and adults , will always cherish memories of the great times we shared. It isn’t too many people we get to know in life with Marie’s many great qualities…kindness, positive attitude, great natured, fun…
Wherever a beautiful soul has been , there is a trail of beautiful memories!

U12 GIRLS
Firstly, a warm welcome to Caoimhe Somers . We were delighted to meet you last Saturday and look forward to having many happy times with you on our team.
The girls were kept on their toes again last Saturday morning when they had an indoor training session in our state of the art Sports Academy in the MTU. How lucky we are in Tralee to have such wonderful facilities like this.

There’s no letting go of that ball by Kerins O’ Rahilly’s U12 Lily May Hussey in a fun game during training

It was clear from the energy and enthusiasm on display from this wonderful group  and their coaches  that everyone was thrilled to be back performing drills and kicking football . They were put through their paces and  they quickly got into a rhythm and quickly brushed aside the winter cobwebs for yet again another enjoyable training session this week.

Training continues over the next few weeks on Saturdays from 12p.m. – 1p.m. in The MTU Sports Academy. Spread the word , new girls always welcome! Come and meet our coaches, try out a training session, you’re guaranteed to have plenty of fun.

U16 GIRLS

ClubZap also has built in COVID return to play forms. Many more features will be utilised in terms of membership, fundraising and club news. If you have any queries please contact any member of the Juvenile Committee who will be happy to assist.

Finally we would like to thank our main sponsor for 2022 Ballyseedy Garden Centre who have come on board to support the Juvenile club. We really appreciate their sponsorship and hope everyone will support them where and when they can.
