Well done to the girls and their coaches Con, Tricia and Paddy on winning the North Kerry Shield sponsored by Trophyworld and captained by Liana Williams.

Thanks to Frank McLoughlin for making the presentation last Sunday evening and to Joe Hanley for taking time to take photos. Also, thanks to Tommy Walsh for coming down to have photos taken with the girls. Everyone was treated to food afterwards in the club and a great night was had by all.

Our captains for 2019 were Katie Dwyer, Eugenie Kerins, Jennifer Murphy and Liana Williams who showed great leadership skills in every game they played throughout the year.

Congrats to the girls from Na Gaeil, Austin Stacks , John Mitchels and Kerins O’ Rahillys who represented their clubs in the Tralee District team last Saturday.  It was a bitter cold day in Ballyrickard but this didn’t hold the girls back from bringing home the Shield.  We were delighted to have our own Jennifer Murphy chosen as captain.

Thanks to Frank for organising everything. Well done to the Tralee District coaches- Con O’ Connor, Tricia Moran, Rory Kilgallen and Michael O’ Brien.

Thanks to Erris and Rory for their great work throughout the year.

This year we will have a Christmas Fair on Sunday, December 8th in the club from 12p.m. – 6p.m.

It promises to be a great day . Our special guest will be Emma Larkin who has recently written and published a book about a girl playing football called ‘Izzy’s Magical Football Adventure’. This will be available to buy on the day and you’ll get to meet Emma too.

The Juvenile Academy will also have their Christmas party that afternoon.
