Club Activities Suspended    Due to the worsening situation of the Coronavirus in Ireland the decision has been taken both at national and local level to suspend all GAA activity, matches and training at club, school and county level across all grades and codes  inclusive in the interest of public safety.

This means that all training, games and team gatherings from under 6 to senior level in the club are suspended until further notice.

CLUB COACHES
To help coaches through this difficult period, the GAA, An Cumann Camogaíochta and the LGFA have created a series of coach development sessions to take place over the coming weeks. The sessions will run every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm, which began last Thursday, March 26th.

The sessions will be along two separate formats. Every Tuesday there will be a live Questions and Answers session with a coach. Any participants in the Q and A will have an opportunity to view the coach delivering a session from the GAA Games Development Conference over the last couple of years and submit their questions via twitter for the coach to answer live.

Every Thursday there will be a live webinar presented by a coach or coach developer. The webinar will be a 30 minute presentation followed by a live Q and A with the presenter.

GAELIC4TEENS

Many thanks to Orlagh Farmer one of the G4T’s ambassadors for delivering her 5 Day Football Challenge. This can be viewed on our Facebook page. There has been great feedback from many of our girls who watched this last week and practiced their skills

Unfortunately because of Covid-19 the G4T Coaching Day 2 and National Festival Day planned for April are postponed until activity resumes. Decision on the delivery format of the Festival Day are uncertain at the moment but will be looked at when we are more clear re resumption of activities. It is dependant on many factors.
