LADIES AND JUVENILE NOTES
#Run4Pieta
At 5.30p.m. last Saturday, May 16th our Run4Pieta officially ended. We had being on the go non stop since Thursday, May 14th.

We ran, walked, cycled and skated to raise much needed funds for Pieta.
We had people from the various townlands in Kerry join in . Sarah Hayes did a walk with her friends in Vancouver to support this worthy cause. Carol O’ Sullivan ran to support Run4Pieta in Tipp.
In Kilcock in Co. Kildare Ailbhe, Lucy, Shonagh, Olivia and Daniel O’ Sullivan cycled to support Kerins O’ Rahilly’s fundraiser Run4Pieta. They each then donated €2 each . Their proud Nan Catriona O’Sullivan was chuffed with their generosity.

Our seniors were delighted to be involved and covered a lot of the night and early morning shifts.

Kerins O’ Rahilly’s Senior Team and Family members covered a distance of 462 kms alone to support Run4Pieta.

In such difficult times it is amazing to see our club and community coming together in such force.
We had over 400 taking part and have raised over €4000 to date. The response was just overwhelming!  A huge thank you to Tricia, Shirley and Kathy for their tremendous work. Most importantly, thank you to all of you , from the youngest to the oldest who took part and donated. A special thanks to Eileen and Jimmy Moran also.
Lovely to see all ages participating.

To mark the finish of our 48 fundraiser for Pieta we released balloons in Strand Road pitch. Thank you Barry John Keane and Tommy Walsh for coming to do this with us. Thanks also to Leo who was delighted with the balloons.

Adrian, our juvenile chairman was delighted to hear that the money raised so far by our community and club will help many people in our town and county  who are crying out for help to get the support they need free of charge. This could save lives . We are proud of our club and our community. Our club would not exist without you  our community who we represent and serve. Thank you!

Many thanks to everyone who sent in photos for us to share on our Facebook page. If you haven’t sent in your photos yet please do so.

Congrats to Lily Harrington Hussey. She was last week’s winner.
