ACADAMH NA NÓG
Covid – 19 didn’t prevent our Juvenile Academy from enjoying their midterm during the week. We were delighted to see everyone making the best of their time off and celebrating Halloween.
It was hilarious to see the various costumes, some spooky and some not so spooky! Thanks to everyone for sharing with us.

Many thanks to everyone who has sent in photos, drawings etc. so far. It brightened up the midterm.
Everyone in the Juvenile Academy will be entered in a draw for a prize. This draw will take place on November 8th.
There will be a prize for an U6 girl and boy, an U8 girl and boy and an U10 girl and boy. Keep sharing what you’ve been up to !

U8 AND U10 GIRLS
Our U8 and U10 Girls are saving for a set of jerseys for games. There is a donation box on the counter in Eileen and Jimmy Moran’s shop in Strand Road. If you’ve any change to spare please throw it in. Thanks in advance everyone!

NÓTAÍ NA mBAN
Hope everyone enjoyed midterm ! It was a different Halloween midterm this year for sure where we should have had a weekend with family, friends, parties etc. but instead it was low-key. It’s been a tough time again for everyone during this lockdown .
It is so important that we take the time to listen.
As we are now into the darker evenings it’s important to remember that it’s okay not to feel okay BUT it’s important to ask for help.

COVID RESTRICTIONS
It is important for all of us to STAY CONNECTED with family, friends, neighbours and those who are living alone.

We in Strand Road want to reassure everyone in our community  that we are here to help.
The health and well-being of our community is very important to us. Pick up the phone and check if someone needs shopping,  medicines or a friendly voice.
Remember community is about reaching out with compassion and staying connected.
Bígí cúramach, bígí sábháilte! Be careful, be safe!
