ACADAMH NA nÓG
Last Friday evening we held our AGM online via Zoom. Thank you to everyone who attended. It’s only fair to say that we were reviewing an era of tough and historic times as our children and young people had it rough for much of 2020. We are embarking on a few new  ideas which were discussed and have a few more ideas to come yet.
We thanked our outgoing secretary Kathy McCarthy who has been appointed Kerry Coiste Na nÓg secretary. The best of luck to Kathy from everyone, well deserved!
We welcomed our incoming secretary Claire Walsh whose family have been involved with us for many years.

Our club officers for 2021 are as follows:
Juvenile Chairman- Adrian Doody
Juvenile Secretary- Claire Walsh
Juvenile PRO – Nora Corridon
Child Welfare Officer – Paula O’ Sullivan
Juvenile Delegate – Cathal Foley

We remembered those in our club and community who passed away . We spoke at length about Marie Nix who contributed so much to “my girls” as she called her team. Marie we will always remember as a great friend to all as well as a coach. We learned so much from Marie’s gentle approach and how to treat our players. Marie is a legend in many of our eyes.

Our condolences to Richard Donnelly and family on the passing of their Dad Dick last week. Dick was a great family man , a gentleman and everyone loved his smile and stories. Rest in peace Dick.
Our condolences also to Maurice Horan and family on the passing of his Mom Ina in Mayo last week. May Ina rest in peace.

Club2gether Workshop
We will have a webinar on Saturday, February 6th. Those involved in this programme have been sent a message with details.

Gaelic4teens
G4T is aimed at coaches, players and parents to help support and develop them with a view to more retention. As girls reach a certain age they are inclined to lose interest in playing.
As the program will be delivered virtually, it now allows parents and players the opportunity to access some of the webinars. Details will be sent to everyone beforehand.

Stay safe everyone!

COACH PROFILES
We are introducing our wonderful coaches that we are so fortunate to have volunteer their time on our Facebook page. Come and meet them.
