ACADAMH NA nÓG
Last Sunday we launched our KORusalema fundraiser for the juvenile club on Facebook . Many thanks to our senior players who kick started it …. some nice footwork lads! John O’ Connor and Barry John Keane were the lead dancers with Paul Ryan on camera and sound. Johno was also our dance choreographer.

Frank the tiler was on lighting and Gavin O’ Brien was our video editor. Our senior team captain Ross O’ Callaghan was handy enough too with his moves. Thanks also to Cormac Coffey, David Moran, Seán Óg Walsh and Gavin O’ Brien for taking time out . You all are a great inspiration to our juveniles.

We are looking for everyone within our club and community to take on the challenge – family, friends, areas and communities. Record your dance Strand Road style , wear club colours and use footballs if you wish.

Like every other organisation we weren’t able to do fundraising last year because of Covid -19.
Many young people’s social, emotional and mental well-being has been impacted by the pandemic.

When we are able we want to go all out and treat and spoil our juveniles . It has been tough for them and we are proud of how good well they have been managing.

We have not done a fundraiser since 2018 so it’s well overdue. Having said that we will continue donating to charity as we have done over the last two years. We will be donating 30% of the proceeds to The Palliative Care Unit in UHK . We all know someone who has been taken care of here. It is something very near to our hearts.

We are doing this in memory of those we have lost and in appreciation of the great work carried out by the wonderful, dedicated  staff in The Palliative Care Unit in UHK. We need everyone’s support on this so please  share, tag etc.
Get the kids, friends, parents , grandparents out there and have a bit of fun!!

Please ensure all Covid guidelines are followed.

We have set up a GoFundMe on Kerins O’ Rahilly’s Facebook page for our fundraiser. Please share . You don’t have to dance in order to donate but it would be great to see so many of you blow away the lockdown cobwebs, dance , have fun and support a worthy cause.  Enjoy!

U12 GIRLS
Your programme has been sent on . If any of you are having any difficulties by all means get in contact with Tricia, Rachel or Rory who will help you out.
A zoom call is scheduled for this Wednesday at 7.30p.m. The link will be sent onto parents who will then send onto their daughter.
Thanks to Rory, Tricia and Rachel for organising this .

U14 GIRLS
Your coaches for 2021 are Mike Halloran, Cliodhna Hayes and Mark Fitzgerald.
They all have great coaching experience and Cliodhna played football with Kerry when she was younger. Welcome on board everyone and the best of luck in the year ahead.

U16 GIRLS
Our online S&C class with the Kerry Sports Academy , MTU continues on Monday. We are delighted to have been one of the clubs chosen for this. Thank you to the wonderful coaches , the girls are enjoying the weekly sessions.
Our zoom call continues on Thursday with Liam, Katie, Frank and Danny. We have different break out rooms every week and there is always something different to look forward to thanks to our coaches.
Our condolences to Karon McLysaght, Fergus, Rian, Lia and the extended Kennelly family on the passing of her Mom and Nan Eileen Kennelly. Everyone is in our thoughts and prayers. May Eileen rest in peace.

MINOR AND SENIOR LADIES
Damien is working hard on your weekly fitness programmes and you will have a zoom call this Tuesday at 7.30p.m. Thank you to everyone!
We are setting up a new what’s app group .
The group will be admin only. Admin will be your coaches and the ladies secretary.
If your daughter is U18 a parent’s number will have to be used.
This is because of child safeguarding.
When your daughter turns 18 her number may be added with her permission.
When Foireann is up and running we will no longer be using what’s app as it isn’t approved or recommended by the LGFA because it isn’t GDPR compliant .
