We are looking forward to getting back on the pitches again when we can .
Another fun competition coming up soon. It was lovely to see so many happy faces again in this week’s paper. Hope you all managed to pick up a copy.
Thanks again to our juvenile coaches for doing their safeguarding online last Saturday. Thanks also to Bernie Reen for delivering this and to Paula O’ Sullivan for organising it.

Thank you so much to everyone who has posted videos and donated so far.
Great to have raised over €2000 so let’s keep it going. Fantastic to see families, friends and our community getting together and observing Covid guidelines. Get the videos in and support the club and community. Everyone who has done it so far has enjoyed it. 30% goes to the palliative care unit in UHK. Everything else goes to the juvenile club and your children-
Footballs, Equipment, First aid kits, Academy mornings, Club Events, Trips away , Supporting our community and so much more. Please support with whatever you can. Thank you so much.

All of our club  are involved in a Fundraiser in connection with Lidl. To support the girls’ teams in our club all you need do is
1. Download the Lidl Plus App
2. Follow the links and select Kerins O’ Rahilly GAA Club
3. Spend over €30 in Lidl and REMEMBER to scan your Lidl Plus card to earn a stamp. You get one stamp for every €30 spent.
4. Collect 6 stamps and submit your completed card by Sunday, April 11th.
We could win anything from a set of jerseys to cash. Please support us if you do your shopping in Lidl and share with family and friends. We would appreciate if everyone could help out. Thanks in advance.

All of our coaches have been sent the correct guidance and procedures for online coaching. This information has been sent onto us from the LGFA and also from our senior club secretary.

We have been notified that everyone who hasn’t done Garda evetting with the GAA or LGFA within the last 3 years must do so again.
For further information please contact Shirley.
Also a Safeguarding course which is a requirement must be done through the GAA / LGFA as other organisations and sports would not cover specifics . Child welfare courses are coming up online.

Hope you’re all enjoying your programmes. If anyone has any difficulty please contact Rory, Tricia or Rachel.
Our S&C programme continues on Monday evening thanks to the students in The Kerry Academy.
Another enjoyable zoom call last Thursday and the girls are looking forward to another this Thursday evening. Keep up the good work everyone!
Our coaches pulled out all the stops last Wednesday evening with an awards night.
The awards were presented outside the girls’ homes so nobody knew until they heard a knock. The first door bell rang at 7p.m. where a very surprised Clodagh Donnelly was presented with an award for Senior Player of the Year. Congrats and well done to Clodagh and well deserved.
The next port of call was to deliver The Minor Player of the Year award which was Aoife O’ Connor. Well done to you Aoife and congrats! Again, well deserved!
Next up was a visit to Caitlin Pierce who received the senior Most Improved Player of the Year. Congrats and well done to you Caitlin. You always have a great attitude and give training and games everything.
The final visit was to Keela Hughes who received the minor Most Improved Player award. Keela came back to play football in 2019 after taking a break for a few years. Congrats Keela, well deserved and keep up the great work.
The minor captain was announced for the year. It is Maedhbh Hanafin.
Our senior captain for 2021 is Tara O’ Connor. Congrats to both Maedhbh and Tara and the best of luck to you , may you both lead your teams to victory!
