ACADAMH NA nÓG
ST. PATRICK’S DAY
Firstly, thanks to Nora Corridon and Claire Walsh for the wonderful video clip they compiled for the St. Patrick’s Day Virtual Parade . We had many chuffed children, parents, grandparents and families watching last Wednesday. Many thanks to Kerry Co. Council, our mayor Terry O’ Brien and all involved. We appreciate all of the work you put into this.
It was lovely to see our youngsters enjoy their day and still get dressed up . Covid might have kept us from training together on the pitch but still plenty of teamwork going on .  We received some fab photos as always and Nora made a lovely video clip with these. Thank you!
RETURN TO PLAY
Fingers crossed that our government will be able to lift some restrictions in the coming weeks and allow our underage players return to the pitch. Keep up the great work everyone and we will get there.
Preparations are being made for whenever we get out there soon!
EASTER
Sorry, no party for our juveniles but we will do something during the week ……
LIDL JERSEYS FOR U8 AND U10 GIRLS
Let’s help our U8 and U10 Girls reach their goal to receive a set of Lidl jerseys. Our aim is to fill 50 cards. It’s simple!
1. Download/ open the Lidl Plus app . Tap ‘ start collecting’.
2. Follow the onscreen prompts to select your club.
3. Spend over €30 in store and scan your Lidl Plus card to earn a stamp ( over €60 = 2 stamps, over €90 = 3 stamps etc.) .
4. Collect 6 stamps and SUBMIT your completed card by SUNDAY, APRIL 11TH.( Users can submit multiple completed stamp cards. )
LET’S DO THIS FOR OUR YOUNG GIRLS!!

NÓTAÍ NA mBAN
Like everyone we’ve had a difficult twelve months due to the pandemic which meant no gatherings and no return to play yet in 2021. This didn’t stop
our momentum . We’re doing zoom classes, strength and conditioning and keeping up our fitness and all while having fun.
The future is bright and exciting for us ladies in Strand Road. We have had a few positive signals in the last week that a return to the field of play should hopefully not be too far away.
The Gaelic Games family have launched the ‘ Be Ready to Play’ programme which is aimed at supporting players and coaches throughout the transition and is being delivered via webinars , website programmes, live sessions and instructional videos.
