Another fab morning in Healy Park, Ballyrickard last Sunday watching our Stars of the Future shine alongside the wonderful sunshine!
Remember our children are learning to play, not playing to learn!
Well done to our youngest “Helper of the Week,” Siún O’ Shea who helped out putting the goodies away for after training!
Thanks to FBD insurance who provided those at Academy Training with boot bags!
We welcome two new boys , brothers Oscar and Mikoli. It’s great to have met you and hope that you’ll enjoy your football days with us.
U5 BOYS
A great training session as always with Barry John Keane and Brian Daly . This is where our stars are born. The boys know how to make an enjoyable, fun training session with our youngest club members.
Congrats to Oscar Loughnane who was named U5 “Player of the Week.”
U6 GIRLS
The girls as always had a ball! A great fun, active and social setting while learning to play fun games.
Last Sunday we welcomed Eden Walsh, what a fab bubbly smile she had and got stuck in straight away. Well done to Eden.
Our U6 “Player of the Week “ was Vanessa O’ Connor, always a great attitude and in great form. There’s plenty of football in her blood. Well done to you Vanessa.

U7 BOYS

Super skills on display from the boys  in training – stars of the future !
Congrats to our 2 “Players of the Week,” Axel Rodenbikers  and Jack Lawlor. Well done boys!
U8 GIRLS
Congrats to Kitty Bowler, our U8 “Player of the Week.” Kitty always has a great attitude and loves her football.
Mitchels will be hosting us for fun games next Sunday, meeting at 10.15am in John Mitchels.

U9 BOYS

Kerins O’ Rahilly’s U9 Boys still full of beans after their Go Games v Laune Rangers last Sunday in Ballyrickard.

We hosted Laune Rangers in Rd. 3 of the Go Games blitz  last Sunday.
A fine display by both blue and white clubs! Thanks to Laune Rangers parents, coaches and teams for travelling.
Training continues in Ballyrickard pitch at 6.15p.m. on Thursday.
U10 GIRLS
Great skills on display again this week from our young ladies. Well done also to our coaches Alan O’ Sullivan and Kelly Fitzgerald.
Our U10 “Player of the Week “ was Yvie Ross. Well done ! Again, always a beautiful smile and a great attitude!
Well done to all at training  You are really working hard on your skills.
We will be going to John Mitchels  for a game next Sunday, meeting at 10.15amin Mitchels. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
U11 BOYS
We had a bye last week in the Co. League. Texts will be sent on your next game.
Our policy of no grading of players at U11’s will continue and we strongly promote the boys to play without fear and encourage them to have fun in their development . We are proud of each one of you!
U13 BOYS
Training continues at 5.45p.m. in Healy Park, Ballyrickard on Tuesday and Thursday. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
U15 BOYS
Hard luck to everyone in the final of the Co. League. While  we didn’t get the result we hoped for , we fought hard all through. We just came up short with a loss by 4 points. Well done to our wonderful young lads, our coaches and thanks to their parents for the great support as always. Congrats to St. Senans on an exciting game and win.
U17 BOYS
We are away on Monday 26th v Ardfert in the Central Region semi final . Throw in at 7:30pm. Best of luck to our coaches and team.
SUMMER CAMP 2021
The countdown has begun to the most looked forward to camp of the year in Ballyrickard.
Not long more now girls and boys and fingers crossed that we will have nice weather.
Remember camp dates are Tuesday, August 3rd to Friday, August 6th. For more details text or what’s app Adrian (085) 1863655.
COMMUNITY
We have a great community event coming up
shortly. We ask that you keep an eye on our Facebook page for details. We are looking forward to seeing everyone get involved.
VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers, weather permitting to do a few odd jobs in Ballyrickard pitch. If anyone wants to help out painting or strimming please contact Adrian (085) 1863655 . Many hands make light work. Thanks in advance!
PRELOVED FOOTBALL GEAR
And here we go again…… We want your old football boots and club gear…..
Bring them along to juvenile training sessions and ladies training sessions . Thank you to everyone who has brought in gear so far.
KERRY MINORS
Best of luck to the Kerry Minors, their coaches including our own  Mark Fitzgerald and Darragh O’ Connor who’s on the squad.
Kerry will play Cork in the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Football Championship Semi final next Friday, July 30th. Throw in will be at 7.30p.m. in Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

U12 GIRLS
We have two teams in the Co. League which commences this Wednesday, July 28th. It is important that everyone gets plenty of game time so this is one of the reasons why we have 2 teams.
STRAND ROAD BLUES TEAM
First out in Rd. 1 of the U12 Co. league next Wednesday, July 28th are our “Blues” team. We have home advantage and are playing our nearby neighbours Stacks.
Throw in will be at 5.30p.m. We also have the North Kerry Development final next week.  Best of luck to everyone!
KERINS O’ RAHILLY TEAM
We face a very strong Knocknagoshel / Brosna in Rd. 1 of the Co. League. They are a newly formed team . Throw in will be at 7.30p.m. also on Wednesday evening.

U14 GIRLS

Kerins O’ Rahilly’s U14 Girls who played Laune Rangers in a challenge match last Thursday in Ballyrickard.

We had a challenge match v Laune Rangers last Thursday.  Many thanks to them for coming in to us on a balmy evening.
A great game from both sides.They played with enthusiasm and never gave up.
There were plenty of smiles and giggles, and a tremendous encouragement from the sideline.
The girls were treated to pizza and drinks afterwards as a little treat.
Messages will be sent out about the slight change in training times for the next few weeks.
U16 LADIES
We’re awaiting news on our next competition. Training continues as normal this Tuesday and Thursday after a well deserved break last week.
MINOR LADIES
Due to the lack of players last Friday evening because many of the girls were working we couldn’t play Fossa. Messages will be sent during the week.

SENIOR LADIES

Kerins O’ Rahilly’s Senior Ladies after their game v Ballymacelligott.

Last Monday we met Firies in Rd. 4 of the Donal Curtin Cup. Well done to the opposition on a great win.
In Rd. 5 we are away to Beale on Tuesday, July 27th. Throw in at 7.30p.m. Best of luck to all!
KERRY LADIES
Best of luck to the Kerry  U14 ladies taking on Cork in the second round of the U14 Munster   championship on July 27th in the Éire Óg GAA Grounds. We are very proud Aof our own Kelly Fitzgerald who will wear the County colours.
Also best wishes to all in the Munster U16 Championship on July28th when  Kerry take on Cork in round 2. We had a bye in Rd. 1. We’re extremely proud of our Katie Nix and Aoibhín O’ Connor MacCarthy who will don the green and gold for Kerry.
