RUN

Kerins O’Rahillys’ 10k/5k run and walk was held on Sunday last and was a great success again this year.

The event, now in it’s fifth year, honoured well-known clubman Francie Quill.  Francie’s contribution was truly recognised by the big turnout which exceeded 300 entrants.

The club would like to thank all those who participated, along with those who supported, planned and organised a truly enjoyable day in Strand Road.  The event was in held in association with PRO-PLAN Property Management Ltd and is an important fundraiser for the club.

AGM

Our AGM was held in The Healy Room last Friday. Thank you to everyone who attended.  Our players, coaches, parents and supporters were thanked for all their effort, hard work and support throughout 2018.

Edmond and Maurice were thanked – without their help and cooperation there would have been no pitches for us. Best of luck to Edmond in his new ventures.  James, Christena and Frank were also thanked for always being there to guide us.

Finally, we have to thank our girls who are hardworking, committed, talented, tenacious, good humoured and most importantly have made friends for life in our club. Being involved in sport at this time in their lives is vital and sets the tone for the many challenges in life.   Best of luck for 2019.

We are recruiting for 2019. If you would like further information phone or text Shirley (086) 8713552. All welcome!

JUVENILE ACADEMY

Not long more girls and boys- we will commence indoor training in Tralee Sports Complex on Sunday, February 10th for U6, U8 and U10 girls and boys. Training will be from 11a.m. – 1p.m. for the various age groups. You will receive more details from Adrian by text.

If anyone has friends bring them along. Here you will learn the basics of Gaelic football while having fun and make new friends too.  Thank you to everyone who attended our coaching workshop which was hosted by our club man Mike Quirke. There was great praise and feedback afterwards.

If your daughter or son would like to come and join in phone or text Adrian (085) 1500199 .
