ACADAMH NA nÓG
We might not be able to play football at the moment and have our usual Halloween get together but we still enjoyed Halloween. Congrats to the girls and boys in our Juvenile Academy whose names were drawn for the Halloween draw.

U6 Girls- Rachel Lawlor
U6 Boys – Conor O’ Shea
U8 Girls- Sophia Conway
U8 Boys – Darren Houlihan
U10 Girls- Ruby Foley
U10 Boys – Kyle Capper
Prizes will be delivered this week.
The good news is that we will have another draw in December for everyone again.

Remember our club is centred around enjoyment, fun and making lifelong friends. Our youth is the bloodline of our club as it is any sporting organisation. Our Juvenile Academy is organised in a fun environment and is intended to be as much a social occasion for our youngsters as well as their parents and families as well as a setting for developing the skills of our future players.

If you didn’t manage to pick up last week’s Kerryman check out our Facebook page. There were some very colourful photos of some of our girls and boys dressed up for Halloween. Well done to everyone!

We hope that everyone is managing to make time to practice their skills during the week.
Beirigí uile bua!

Congrats to our own Mike Quirke and Maurice Horan last Sunday on their win with Laois over Longford.

NO ALCOHOL NOVEMBER
Declan Smith is one of our juvenile coaches, and a  Dad and grandad to members of our juveniles and ladies.

Declan was on TODAYFM during the week. As it’s been a very difficult year for charities in Ireland, especially not having the opportunity to fund raise as normal Declan has started on a “No Alcohol November” whereby he is off alcohol for the month .

The money he would normally spend he is going to donate to his favourite charity, the  ISPCC.  He is spreading the word around to all of his family, friends and colleagues. He is asking everyone to further spread the idea to challenge others to do something similar. Declan is hoping that this will help raise some much needed funds for Charities. Well done to Declan!

NÓTAÍ NA mBAN
Afraid there’s very little to talk about this week….

While everyone has a different talent, sport has never been more important! Remember to keep in touch with your football friends over the winter months and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Hard luck to our Kerry Senior Ladies last Saturday. Unfortunately it’s the end of the road for the ladies this year who were defeated on a score line of 1-14 to 0-14 against Cork. We just fell short. Well done to everyone involved.
The game was televised by TG4 from Austin Stack Park. It was a great opportunity for all of us to watch a cracking game.
Well done to Erika and Adam Quill who were asked to be part of the TG4 Fanwall during the game.

NOVEMBER
This is the month in which most of us particularly remember our loved ones who have passed away. Many of our thoughts are turning towards Christmas. Let us all remember those who have passed away , their families and circles of friends.

CONDOLENCES
We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Nora Fealey (our KLGFA secretary ), her Mom, siblings and extended families on the passing  of her Dad Timmy Barrett. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam!

Remember to keep an eye on our social channels Facebook and Twitter.
