U6/8/10/Girls Training as usual in Healy Park on Saturday next at 11am.
U8s U8s took part in the “Go Games Blitz” held in Na Gaeil on Thursday last. There were two teams and both played very well showing off the skills they have being learning at training. Players to watch for in the future were Peter Galvin, Jonathon Moriarty and Odhran Kerins.
U12s U12 Teams play Beaufort on Friday next the 27th at 7pm in Healy Park Ballyrickard.
U14s Their next game in the Central League is on Monday next away to Cromane at 7pm.
U16s U16 Co League started last Wednesday with our first game at home to Listowel. Kerins O’Rahillys found it hard to settle in the first half and Listowel dominated. The half time score reflected this with Kerins O’Rahillys 0-04 Listowel 1-07. Kerins O’Rahillys started to come into the game more in the second half and by the last quarter had settled in and came out with a deserved draw in the end. The final score Kerins O’Rahillys 2-10 Listowel 1-13. Their next game is Round 2 on Wednesday the 25th at home in Strand Road to Austin Stacks.

Senior Football
U21s Kerins O’Rahillys play St Brendan’s in Ardfert on Wednesday July 2nd at 7.30 in the U21 Football Championship.

Junior Football League Group 1

Strand Road played Rathmore in the Junior League Group 1 game on Monday the 16th. Strand Rd dominated the first half and the score at half time was Strand Rd 2-05 Rathmore 1-05. Rathmore turned it around in the second half and Strand Rd seemed to loose their shape and the final score was Strand Rd 2-06 to Rathmore’s 4-11.

Junior Football League Group 5

Charlie Kerins played Churchill on Friday last on a beautiful summers evening in Churchill. It was their last game in the league. Having had most of the possession in the first half Charlie Kerins went in ahead at half time. The score was Charlie Kerins 0-09 to Churchill’s 1-04. Charlie Kerins were very strong throughout the second half and were very unlucky to be beaten by Churchill in the final minutes of the game. Final score was Charlie Kerins 0-13 Churchill 2-10. Team: Robert O’Connor, Ben O’Neill, Jim Kennedy, Paudie Sheehey Cunningham, Dylan Ronan, Fintan Collins(capt), John Kelly, Diarmuid O’Sullivan, Gavin O’Brien, Daniel Nix, Gary Sugrue, Paudie Murphy, Antony O’Connor, Jack Shortt, Alan Sheehy Cunningham, Stephen O’Sullivan, Gary Harrington and Tony Corridon.
All fixtures are subject to change so keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for changes.

Mouth-Guards

As you may be aware it will be compulsory for all players senior right down to juvenile to wear mouth-guards at training sessions and when playing games. This comes into effect for seniors from 1st January 2014 and has been in effect for all others since last January. If players fail to wear mouth guards they will not be permitted to participate in football training or matches. No mouthguard No game! Club Membership
Senior Committee will be in contact with you shortly about your 2014 membership. We will be asking that you consider putting your membership on direct debit to help cut down on administration. Please contact any committee member for details.

Ladies Football
U14/U16 U14 and U16 Ladies train every Tuesday at 6.15 in Ballyrickard.
U12 Girls U12 girls train this week and have to play remaining games in North Kerry League. They will be notified by text.

Birthday Wishes Birthday wishes this week go to Coren Hughes U10 boys.

Donal’s Message
We would like to thank everyone from the club who turned out to relay Donal’s Message out of town on Wednesday last with his family and the “Home to Rome Cyclists”. Well done to all.

Lotto
The Lotto takes place in Charlie’s Bar every Monday. The Lotto results for Monday the 16th of June were 1, 18, 19 and 20. There was no jackpot winner; the next jackpot will be €5,600. There was 1 match 3 winner. That was Liz Lawlor DD. Five entrants for December draw were Geraldine c/o Edmund, Shane and Martina c/o Club, Elma Walsh DD, Deirdre Sugrue DD and Seán Callum DD.

To play the Kerins O’Rahillys Lotto, four numbers are selected from 1 to 28. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins the Jackpot. Match three numbers to win €25. Tickets cost €2 each.

Lotto Sellers The club needs lotto ticket sellers. It can be worth your while. If you are interested contact any member of the Senior Committee.

Charlie’s Bar
Club Lotto on takes place in the bar every Monday night with a special in house raffle if you are present so why not pop along. Why not treat yourself to lunch in Charlie’s. There’s something to please everyone.

Weightwatchers takes place in the Healy Room every Thursday and have now changed to “winter” times. Classes now take place at 9.30am, 12.30 and 5.30pm.

The Active Retired Coffee Morning Group meets every Tuesday morning in Charlie’s. Come along and keep in touch with old friends and make new friends. All welcome.

“Dance for Fun” has finished for the summer but will make a return in the autumn. Keep an eye on the notes for dates and times. We have many different size function rooms and cater to all types of function.

We also have Barbecue facilities so with beautiful summer weather why not consider having a barbecue at Charlies. Contact Tom or Eileen or any member of staff at 7124956 if you have any queries.

Card Drive
Attention card players there will be a “Whist drive” on Thursday the 26th in the club and the “45” card drive in club house on Friday the 27th of June. Tables of 6. Bring a friend. All welcome.

Sympathies
Sincere Sympathy is expressed to the family of Shirley Quane (née Foley) Blennerville, Tralee and Michael Liston, Day Place, Tralee. May they rest in Peace.
