LADIES NOTES

We will have our awards night for the U12, U14, U15, U16 and Senior ladies next Sunday, December 15th in Charlie’s Bistro. This will be preceded by our Ladies Annual Meeting at 5p.m. We hope that everyone can attend.

CHRISTMAS FAIR

The orange weather warning changed to red during our Christmas Fair which meant that many people stayed indoors but considering the day we still had a great turnout.

Thanks to everyone who contributed something and helped out.

We were delighted to meet the Maurice with the Mounthawk TY students who are doing their YSI project on ‘Laws 4 Paws’. Best of luck to everyone.

Thanks to everyone who travelled to join us and we are looking forward to seeing Emma Larkin again in the New Year for all our young lady footballers.

LADIES FUN BLITZ

We are hosting a fun blitz for the ladies in our community on Sunday, December 29th. Check out our Facebook page for more details.

COACHES AND ADMINISTRATORS NIGHT

Looking forward to seeing everyone next Friday eveningin the club.

CÚINNE NA NÓG

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Storm Atiyah didn’t hold all of the children back from attending our Christmas party last Sunday. Santa called to the children and presented everyone with their medals and a selection box. Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day.

JUVENILE AGM

This will be held on Friday December 13th at 8pm. We would encourage everyone to attend if possible.

This will be followed by a few drinks and finger food for all coaches and administrators of juvenile, ladies and senior teams as a thank you from our club for the work and dedication by everyone throughout the year.

CLUB CALENDAR

We are doing a calendar for the ladies and juvenile clubs this year. They will cost €10.

Can you text (086) 8713552 if you wish to purchase one or if you need more details. They will be available to buy before Christmas.

ROCK STREET POST OFFICE CLUB LOTTO COMPETITION

The Club is currently competing with other clubs for the sole rights to sell our Club Lotto tickets in Rock Street Post Office from April 2020.

To help us win this competition, all you have to do is mention your support for Kerins O’Rahillys when you make any financial transaction in Rock Street Post Office and you will collect points for the club.  The points are collected by stamping a card that you can keep yourself or else leave in the Post Office if that’s handier for you.

When the card is full, you can give it to Paula O’Sullivan of our Management Committee or else hand it into Rock Street Post Office – and then start a new card!  The number of points awarded depends on the type of transaction you make.

For example, if you open a new deposit account, you will earn five points for Kerins O’Rahillys and if you buy a booklet of 10 stamps, you will earn the club two points.

We are asking all club members and supporters to get behind us in our efforts to win the competition.  So if you’re buying stamps for Christmas, think Rock street Post Office and then think Kerins O’Rahillys when you’re in there!  All support welcome.

SNIPPETS from “top of the right”

•             There’s a widespread rumour that the Snippets Man is favourite to win the Kerins O’Rahillys 10k on Sunday 26th January next.

•             “The Tiler” is already doing extra training in order to compete!

•             In the meantime, all Club members and supporters are asked to continue sprinting to Rock Street Post Office to help Strand Road to win the Club Lotto competition….
