U14 GIRLS
Our girls enjoyed their first outdoor training session of 2020 where three of their coaches Katie Hassett, Frank O’ Connor and Liam Hassett took on board the Gaelic4teens program. The girls enjoyed the fun atmosphere and got so much out of their training session. They finished up with a high five before leaving the pitch ecstatic.
Training continues this Tuesday.
Welcome to Jasmine O’ Sullivan Foley who has joined this wonderful bunch of girls. May you have many happy times here with us Jasmine.

Tricia, Aisling and Damien are looking forward to a great year with this team and have great plans in place for them. Shannon will also be giving a hand when she isn’t training herself.
We were training under lights in Strand Road last Thursday evening.

In round 2 we are home to Currow.
Training continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

REGISTRATION
A reminder that registration needs to be paid as soon as possible. Anyone who isn’t registered can’t train or play as you’re not insured.

CONFIRMATION
Sending our best wishes to all the girls and boys who will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation this week. May you and your families have a wonderful day.

Why not open up a deposit account in our local Rock Street post office. This is a sensible gift or is a great idea for anyone making their Confirmation to lodge away some money. It won’t be long before you’re going to secondary school and between buying books and a uniform it can be costly.
Remember to nominate our club when doing so.

QUIZ
We will be hosting a quiz in Charlie’s Bar & Bistro in the coming weeks. The proceeds of this is going towards the girls trip to Abbotstown on Sunday, April 26th. Our club is one of thirty clubs in the country participating in Gaelic4teens.

We are also fundraising to buy a set of jerseys for our U8 and U10 girls who are looking forward to lots of challenge matches, Go Games and fun in 2020.

We would welcome spot prizes from
people.

We will have a raffle on the night and our main fabulous raffle prize is a SIGNED KERRY JERSEY. Everyone is welcome to buy tickets which go on sale tomorrow.
For further details please text or what’s app Shirley (086) 8713552 or follow our Facebook page.

GAELIC4TEENS
This year we are doing the G4T program.
Our coaches are putting into practice what they are themselves learning on how to keep the girls interested in football while having fun. After all it’s all about the girls and very important that they’re all enjoying it!

We will be ordering the G4T jerseys early this week. For anyone who hasn’t put in their order we need it by Tuesday please and the subsidised cost of €13 must be paid when ordering.

If anyone is interested in trying out football or if any of you have a friend who isn’t affiliated with another club please bring them along.
This is a free opportunity for anyone to play football, have fun and be physically and mentally fit.
Everyone is welcome to participate in G4T.You have to be 13-17 years of age in 2020.  For further details please text or what’s app Shirley (086) 8713552.
